How big is the projector?
The projector is approximately 9” long and stands 9” tall on its base. It weighs approximately 3lbs.
$200 seems expensive, aren’t Christmas projectors like $50?
Projecting this detailed design with enough brightness and a scale to cover an entire house requires an entirely different technology than you’ll find in a typical retail Christmas light. We tested and experimented with several different technologies over the past months and we can assure you that you won’t be able to achieve this effect with a less expensive solution.
Does the image move or rotate?
No. This projector displays a static image.
How should I install the projector?
Every installation will be unique based on the user’s location. The base of this projector has holes for four mounting screws to secure into the ground or onto a stable platform. It’s advised that the user create or find a sturdy and elevated platform for mounting.
How large is the image that is projected?
The projected image is approximately 20’ x 20’ in size from a distance of 20’. While 20’ is the optimal distance, the image can be refocused by twisting the projector body as needed when moved closer or further away.
How long will the bulb last?
The 25watt LED bulb is designed last for more than 30,000 hours of use.
Is there a warranty on the projector?
We will accept returns or exchanges for defects or malfunctions for up to 30 days after delivery of the product.
How hot does the projector get?
Under normal operation the projector will feel warm to the touch -- it operates at around 100 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Please refrain from enclosing or covering the projector so that heat can naturally dissipate.
Is the projector weatherproof?
Yes, the projector will operate in rain and snow. The projector is a certified IP65-rated water resistant device, meaning it is built to withstand falling or spraying water but not actual submersion. For that reason, you should keep the projector out of heavy rains and mount it above the ground in the winter to avoid the risk of it being submerged in melting snow.
